More info
'Lady H' is a GibSea 106 (36'). She has three double cabins and two good sea berths. On deck she is fitted with 'old fashioned' hank on headsails, a cruising chute and a slab reefing main sail. 'Lady H' is also fitted with a Monitor Wind Vane Self Steering system. (Great for single-handed watches - you get a chance to let go and make a cuppa)
During the winter we try not to sail with more than 3 people on board. That means;-
You will get a cabin to yourself! But you provide your own sleeping bag.
All work is divided EQUALLY amongst the crew on board.
You will get the chance to steer, set, reef and trim sails.
You will help with the shopping.
You will help with cleaning and maintenance.
You will take your turn at being skipper for the day.
You will take your turn at being navigator for the day.
You will take your turn at cooking and washing up.
You will stand watches alone both at night and in day time.
When on watch you will be responsible for the safety of boat and crew, (navigating, steering and sail trim.)
When in port or at anchor you will get the chance to relax and laugh with like minded people.
When on board Lady H you will get the chance to share yet be independent.
Can you do all that? If you can't then you will be taught!

About 'Lady H'
What they said.
Tim, thanks for a very informative 9 days. The range of sailing was a great experience, - You're a wealth of information which has really helped me in deciding what kind of things to look for in my first boat. - Deane (did 277 miles in 9 days aboard Lady H)
Thanks Tim for a brilliant time onboard Lady H and for having the confidence in me that other skippers don't to let me practice my close quarters boat handling. You are one of a kind! - Jack (did 898 miles in 28 days aboard Lady H and was last heard of being sponsored to do his Ocean Yacht Master!
Skipper Tim is undoubtedly a wit and raconteur to great effect - fascinating tales of sailing in the Red Sea, life in the Middle East and even refrigeration engineering. But his unstinting and infectious enthusiasm for sailing shines through. - We have had plenty of great sailing in good winds and some interesting debates about the merits of 1 Euro cartons of red wine. Thanks for a great week.- Toby (did 226 miles in 7 days aboard Lady H)
Tim, thanks so much for two weeks of liveaboard sailing in the Mediterranean Sea. I have learned much and also been given space to voice an opinion which has been listened to and debated upon. You are a true liveaboard which is a lifestyle I hanker after. God Bless and Fair Winds. You have shared so much with me on this trip. - John (did 359 miles in 14 days aboard Lady H. Last heard of heading to the Far East on a delivery.
I'm not sure if it is my sailing or film knowledge which has been improved the most. But now I have the confidence to live up to;- 'Better drowned than duffers if not duffers won't drown'. - Steve (Did 1012 miles in 28 days aboard Lady H. Last heard of heading for the Med. from the UK on his own yacht.)
10 days sailing in almost perfect conditions, in such beautiful surroundings, what a start to the year. I have done quite a few sailing trips on different boats but Lady H and Tim were more my cup of tea, enjoying sailing for what it should be, ie, fun! Will definitely be coming back round this way again and would wholeheartedly recommend Let's-Go-Sailing. - Andrew (did 419 miles in 10 days aboard Lady H and has now bought his first yacht)
Winter (serious) Sailing
www.Lets-go-Sailing.co.uk
For the winter of 2011/12 we will be based in Olbia, Sardinia and sailing in La Maddalena islands. It is a great area to sail! Although cooler than during the summer it is still a lot warmer than the UK or northern Europe. Harbours and marinas are all but deserted, prices are low, safe anchorages are not always safe, the winds can be strong, and sailing is best left to those who just WANT TO SAIL and who are prepared to contribute to the cost. Is that you? If so;-
